Legacies

Legacies are a vital source of income. Many people find it difficult to think about what will happen when they die or are unable to give significant sums of money to Nightingale during their lifetime. Frequently, however, our friends would like their name and memory associated with the caring work undertaken by the Home once they have passed away.

One of the most important things that you can do is to ensure that you have an up-to-date will. This need not be either a complicated or expensive process. The reality is that making a will is simple and easy to arrange. What is more, gifts to charity are Inheritance Tax free. Therefore, leaving a gift to Nightingale could consequently reduce the tax payable on your estate.

Please don’t delay ... make your will today.

To include a legacy to Nightingale in your will, please download, print out and complete either of the forms below and hand to your solicitor when making or amending your will. The forms could be attached as a codicil to an existing will.

Pecuniary bequest - a bequest of a set sum of money (46k PDF)

Residuary bequest - a bequest of a proportion of your overall estate (46k PDF)

(Please note the free Adobe Reader will be required to print out these documents)
